My Boston Terrier, Bella, went to the vet's yesterday.

It wasn't anything special, y'know. Routine checkup. But they found out she's got something wrong with her knees (I forget what it's called), where the cap slides back and forth out of the groove of the knee (that's the basic gist of what the vet said). Fortunately, she doesn't have the kind that locks up and hurts her. Unfortunately, the kind she has is more likely to lead to arthritis later on; that is, unless we get surgery for her later this year.

Which, y'know, would be great, except the surgery costs $900 bucks per knee. So we probably won't be getting it.

I dunno, you guys. I just sorta feel like venting. I... I love this dog like my own child-- if I liked children-- and I know there's a lot of you with much worse problems out there, but... Iunno.
